Trucker Party Decorations
Here were some fun table decorations for the trucker party. Who doesn't love slurpies and corndogs from a truck stop!!??
Semi Truck
This is a semi truck cake for a friend's 5 year old's birthday party. This was a daunting task but I was very pleased with the results! It took 10 cakes and hours of assembly/decorating but it was all worth it! It contained layers of chocolate and yellow cakes.
Lil' Peanut Cookies
To go along with the elephant theme, I made Nutter Butter cookies wearing chocolate "diapers" embellished with a little teddy bear. Thought the lil' peanut idea was fun.

Elephant Baby Shower
I recently helped with the planning of a dear friend's baby shower. She chose a green and black with elephants theme, very classy! This is a 6, 9, 12" three tiered chocolate with raspberry filling cake. The first cake I ever covered with fondant!
Smurf Village
My sister made this adorable miniature smurf village out of radishes and clay. A perfect centerpiece and topic of conversation! The smurfs were about 2 cm tall, so cute.
Exploding Cake
This is Riley's 4th birthday cake. If anyone is familiar with the Smurfs, Jokey Smurf carries around a gift and when another smurf opens it, it explodes in their face.
Circus Favors
Molded chocolate suckers with sprinkles, almonds, and crushed pretzels were favors for the circus party.
Circus Cake
This is for Connor and Leah's first birthday party, my first attempt at using fondant. I was very pleased with the results.
Smash Cake (Girl)
This is a smash cake for my niece's first birthday (3 weeks after Connor's). She has many food allergies so I made her a vegan cake, therefore and little less fluffy but still tasty!
Smash Cake (boy)
This was Connor's "smash" cake for his first birthday on his actual birthday. It is a 6" two layer cake.
Spongebob Cake
This was Riley's 3rd Birthday cake. She loved Spongebob at the time and I did yellow and pink layers of cake (for Spongebob and Patrick) and hollowed out a pineapple to place on the top.
Nemo Cake
This is Riley's second 2nd birthday cake. She was into Nemo and this was a small party so I kept it simple, but the interior was just like the Yo Gabba Gabba cake.
Yo Gabba Gabba (2)
As you can see I did not do much decorating on the outside of the cake because the inside took a lot of time. As you cut further into the cake you could see all six colors of the rainbow.
Yo Gabba Gabba
This was for Riley's 2nd birthday. It doesn't appear to be much, but it is a 14" diameter cake! It looked like a tire on the table!
Monkey Cake
Monkey cake for my cousin's 18th birthday. You can never be too old for a monkey cake in my opinion!
Giraffe Cake
Riley's second 1st birthday cake. My sister-in-law had taken cake classes and we worked on this one together.
Jungle Cake
This is Riley's first birthday cake, also my first attempt at taking cake decorating seriously! It was yellow and chocolate cake with buttercream icing. The animals and banner were made out of clay because I was not daring enough to work with fondant!
