Speed Racer Cake

Go Speedracer go!  This was a Speedracer "Mach 5" themed cake for a surprise 50th birthday party.  The car took the longest to create.  It was carved from rice krispie treats and covered in fondant.  It was a lot of fun adding the little details and seeing it come together.  The cake was a classic chocolate with vanilla buttercream.

Status Update

So excited, I just received two more cake orders for the month of january! The next will be a baby shower cake, then a Mach 5 birthday cake, and then the minnie cake. I'm ready to start baking and I can't wait to see the finished projects.

Coming Up

The next cake in line is a Minnie Mouse cake for a little girl's first birthday!

Memory Cake

This is a cake for my Grandpa's 85th birthday.  I wanted to do something very special for him and thought putting photos from special moments in his life on display would be perfect!
